Dr. Mayle

  • Dr. Mayle runs a busy orthopedic practice in San Francisco/Marin and is a member of AAOS, COA, and AAHKS. Annually, Dr. Mayle performs approximately 500 joint replacements and has pioneered the adoption of outpatient ASC-based joint replacement surgery in San Francisco. He is the Medical Director of Joint Replacement at Presidio Surgery Center, the Chair of the Surgical Governance Committee at Novato Community Hospital, and is the Chairman of the Board for San Francisco Center for Surgery.
  • Rob has authored multiple peer-reviewed clinical articles, published several book chapters, spoken across the country at national conferences, and won first place in the OREF/ORS Southwest Regional Resident Research Symposium (The Acute Transplantation of Human Fetal Neuronal Stem Cells Following Spinal Cord Injury).
  • Rob likes to cycle, ski, and golf, but he most enjoys spending time with his son and daughter (August and Addison).
